Every home in this country is going to be upgraded over the next twenty years. The only question is whether it's done well, and by whom.

Most installers start at "install". That's why so many heat pumps are oversized, overpriced and disappointing.
We measure your house first, improve the fabric with grant funding where it's available, and only then size the machine — which by that point is smaller, cheaper to buy and cheaper to run.

Windows taken out and load-bearing platforms built to carry a heat pump across a roof that couldn't hold it. Planning won on applications others had abandoned. An indoor install where permission couldn't be obtained at all.

(07) Clean air
The cleanest air on the street
A heat pump doesn't make heat. It moves it — drawing warmth out of the outside air and concentrating it into your home, typically delivering three to four units of heat for every unit of electricity it uses. It's the physics that keeps your fridge cold, run in reverse and made very good.
It runs on electricity, and Scotland's electricity gets cleaner every year without you doing a thing.
Multiply one home by a stair, a terrace, a whole school run, and you get streets where the air outside is as clean as the air we'd want our children breathing on the way to school.
