This Grade II listed property has been lovingly restored by its owner, an artist and interior specialist, to showcase traditional crafts and materials. Any heating intervention had to work within that restoration rather than compromise it.

(04) What we did

We worked closely with the owner to specify radiators that would heat efficiently and affordably while maintaining the character of each room — sight lines, picture-hanging space and furniture layout were all considered in the radiator specification, so the result is a warm home that keeps its aesthetic flow. Underfloor heating went in across the ground floor, with low-temperature radiators sized for the first floor, plus full smart home integration with individual room control and weather-compensated heating curves.
